MGA Volunteer Position Nomination & Appointment Process

The IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Nominations and Appointments (N&A) Committee seeks candidates to serve as MGA volunteers each year.

Each IEEE Region is encouraged to submit nominations to help ensure that MGA is globally balanced. Self-nominations are encouraged.
There is a two-step nomination process. Candidates may self-nominate, or be nominated by another member via a First Application Form. Upon completion of the initial application, a Full Application Form will be sent for the nominee to fill out to be considered for a given position.

Deadlines
In order to give the MGA N&A Committee an opportunity to prepare and distribute the slate of candidates, please adhere to the annual nomination and application deadlines:

15 March: Candidates for Vice President-Elect/Board Chair-Elect
15 March: Candidates for MGA Treasurer and MGA Vice Chairs
15 March: Candidates for MGA Committee Chairs
1 August: Candidates for MGA Committee Members
